  • Slice the beef into long, thin pieces. Tenderize with hammer or shil pata.
  • Clean and drain all water from beef.
  • Mix all marination spices and whisk yogurt in a bowl.
  • Now mix with beef pieces and keep into refrigerator for 2-3 hours preferable overnight.


Grinding spices:

  • Heat a tawa and fry all spices for grind a little. Let it slightly cool and then grind to fine powder.


Cooking Method:

  • Let the marination beef boil in 3 to 4 cups of water over medium heat until tender.
  • Once cooked and oil is separated from beef, add ground spices and beresta and mix well.
  • Cook another five minutes.
  • Turn off the heat once the the meat is tender and the water dries up.
  • Serve hot with polao, paratha, or luchi.
