Prep Time : 5 minutes. Cook Time : 10 minutes

Preparation:

  • Sprinkle some salt and turmeric over ilish dim.
  • Heat oil and fry for 3 minutes until brown. Keep aside.

 

Method:

  • Heat remaining oil and fry onion until soft.
  • Add all other ingredients except fried onion.
  • Saute' for 2 minutes with a little water.
  • Now place the fried egg and add some water.
  • Adjust salt.
  • Cook on low heat until water dries up.
  • Remove from heat, sprinkle fried onion and garnish with roasted chili.
  • Serve with rice or polau.

notes: 

  • in addition, you can also use green chili instead of dry red chili.
  • you can skip mustard powder.
