Pizza Roll is a very yummy and kids favorite food. It is very easy to make delicious food at home. I love pizza roll very much. It can be place on kids lunch box and also healthy. Let’s know how to make healthy and delicious pizza roll at home.
- Pizza dough ingredients:
- All purpose flour - 2 cups
- Yeast - 1 teaspoon
- Powder milk - 2 tablespoon
- Baking power - 1/2 teaspoon
- Sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Lukewarm water - 2/3 cup
- Oil - 2 tablespoon
- Pizza roll ingredients;
- Chicken - 1 cup boneless chopped and minced
- Ginger Paste - 1/2 teaspoon
- Garlic Paste - 1/2 teaspoon
- Tomato Sauce - 1/4 cup
- Red Chili Flakes - 1 teaspoon
- Green Chilies - 1 tablespoon chopped
- Mozzarella Cheese - 1/2 cup
- Green,red,and yellow capsisum - 1/2 cup slices
- Egg Yolk - 1 piece
Pizza Dough Preparation:
- In a bowl mix the dry ingredients- flour,baking powder,sugar,salt and oil. Now add warm water gently, mix well and make a soft dough.
- Knead the dough for 5-8 minutes.
- Cover it and keep aside for 1 hour or until well doubled.
- Mix ginger-garlic paste,soy sauce with chicken.
- Heat a pan and stir-fry the chicken for 2-3 minutes on medium high heat.
- Let it cool.
- Preheat your oven to 400 degree F.
- Once the dough is doubled, turn it out and punch it down and
- Knead the dough for 2-3 minutes.
- Roll or press pizza dough on a floured surface to approximately 10 x 12 inch rectangle, with a long side.
- Spread tomato sauce over the dough and place the cooked chicken.
- Spread red chili, green chili and grated cheese.
- Now place the capsicum over it.
- Roll dough lengthwise like a jelly roll, and cut into 1 1/2-inch slices.
- Lay the dough circles on a parchment paper lined baking sheet or an oiled baking sheet.
- Let rest at room temperature for 30 minutes to puff and rise a bit.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden.Remove from oven and serve hot with your favorite sauce.
