Description
This is a very very soft and delicious bread. Good looking and nice texture of this bread can attract anyone to eat. This homemade bread can be used for our breakfast easily.
Chicken Bread Roll

Ingredients
- For the dough
- All purpose flour - 2 cups
- Yeast - 1 teaspoon
- Powder milk - 2 tablespoon
- Baking Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Butter - 2 tablespoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Egg - 1
- For the chicken filling
- Boneless chicken - 1 cups boiled and shredded
- Ginger Garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoon
- Carrot - 1 cup chopped
- Onion - 1/2 cup chopped
- Green Chilies - 2 tablespoon finely chopped
- Black pepper powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Sugar - 1 teaspoon
- Oil - 2 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
Instructions
Filling preparation:
- Heat 2 tablespoon oil, fry onion and carrot until soft.
- Mix add ginger-garlic, salt and pepper.
- Add the chicken, green chilies, sugar and soy sauce.
- Adjust salt and pepper. Cook 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let it cool completely.
Dough preparation:
- In a bowl mix the dry ingredients- flour, baking powder, sugar, salt and butter.
- Now add warm water little by little.
- Mix well and make a very soft dough.
- Knead the dough for 5-8 minutes until elastic consistency.
- Grease a bowl double size of the dough with some oil and a pinch of flour.
- Cover it and keep on warm place for one hour or until doubled.
Kneading Method:
- Once the dough is doubled, turn it out and punch it down and knead the dough for 2-3 minutes.
- Roll out dough from one ball into 15 inch circle.
- Then cut the dough into 8 wedges.
- Take 1 wedges, roll and press, then put filling on the top of the dough and roll it tightly.
- Lightly press the edge to seal, transfer to a greased baking tray and cover with plastic wrap.
- Let rest for another 45 minutes or until double in size.
Baking:
- Preheat the oven to 180 degree C .
- Gently brush top of the rolls with egg yolks.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until top is golden brown color.
- Take out from the oven and cover with a kitchen towel or cloth.
- Let it cool on a room temperature.
Gas Stove Method:
- Place 1 cup of salt in the bottom of a big hari or sauce pan.
- Put on the gas stove, cover and preheat your pan on high heat for 5 minutes.
- Now reduced heat to low.
- Now place the baking pan on salt.
- Cover and bake for 20 minutes on low heat.
- Once done, turn off heat immediately and remove bread from pan. Cover the bread with a kitchen towel or cloth.
- Let it cool on a room temperature.
