Prawn Tomato Curry or tomato chingry is a all time favorite in our country. I also love this easy, quick and delicious prawn tomato curry. It is easy to make under 10-15 minutes.

Prep Time : 10 minutes. Cook Time : 15 minutes



  1. Heat oil in a pan,add onion and fry until soft.
  2. Then add onion paste and fry for one minute.
  3. Now add ginger, garlic, cumin, tomato puree, red chili and turmeric powder.
  4. Cook for 5 minutes or until oil become separated from spices.
  5. Place the prawn and fry lightly.
  6. Then add milk and 1/2 cup water.
  7. Cover and cook for 5 minutes on a low flame.
  8. Then add tomato slices, green chilies and cook another 4-5 minutes.
  9. Remove from heat and serve hot with steamed rice.
