Prep Time : 10 minutes. Cook Time : 15 minutes




  1. Clean and rinse the fish pieces.
  2. Mix salt and 1/2 teaspoon of ginger garlic paste with fish.
  3. Heat two tablespoon oil and fry fish until they turn golden-brown.
  4. Remove from heat and keep aside.



  1. Heat rest of the oil and brown the onions.
  2. Add in the onion paste, ginger, garlic, cumin, coriander, red chili powder with two tablespoon of water.
  3. Simmer for about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Now pour in 1/2 cup of water and mix with the sauce.
  5. Whisk yogurt, sugar, flour and milk powder with 1/2 cup of water and pour into the gravy.
  6. Once the water boiling, add in the fried fish and stir gently.
  7. Flip over the fillets after two minutes to cook the other side.
  8. Cover and cook over medium heat.
  9. Remove cover once the gravy stars boiling after 4-5 minutes.
  10. Add ghee, green chilies and keep over low heat.
  11. Turn off the heat once the gravy thickens.
  12. Serve hot!
