Preparation:

  1. Wash and drain beef well. Keep aside.
  2. Boiled and peeled the small potatoes.
  3. Heat two tablespoon oil and fry boiled potato sprinkle with some salt and turmeric.Keep aside.

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a deep bottom pan and fry onion until golden color. Remove half of fried onion and keep aside.
  2. Add whole cardamon, cinnamon, bay leaf and cloves.
  3. Mix onion paste and ginger paste.
  4. Add garlic, cumin paste, coriander powder, turmeric, red chili, salt and garam masla powder. Mix them well.
  5. Place the meat and fry until oil is separated from meat.
  6. Now whisk yogurt with one cup of water and mix into the meat.
  7. Cover and cook until meat is soft and tender.
  8. If you need add more water.
  9. Once cooked and gravy comes to thick, then add fried potatoes and roasted cumin powder.
  10. Remove from heat and serve with rice or ruti.
  11. Enjoy!

Notes:

  • instead of small alu you can also use big size potato.
  • finally taste great alu gorur mansho , when serve hot.
