Ingredients
- Chicken Keema/Mince - 300 gm
- Egg - 1
- Bread crumbs - 1/2 cup
- Bread slices - 2 pieces
- Fried onion(Beresta) - 1/4 cup
- Ginger- Garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
- Garam masla powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- For gravy:
- Onion chopped - 3-4 tablespoon
- Onion paste - 1 tablespoon
- Yogurt - 3 tablespoon
- Coconut milk - 1/2 cup
- Ginger paste - 2 teaspoon
- Garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin paste - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Garam masla powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder (optional) - 1/2 teaspoon
- Red Chili Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Oil - 1/4 cup
- Fried onion(Beresta) - for garnishing
Instructions
Preparation:
- Mix chicken keema with ginger-garlic paste, garam masal powder, black pepper powder and salt. Mix well.
- Then mix egg, fried onion, soaked bread and beresta.
- Then mix bread crumbs and make small ball.
- Heat oil in a deep fry pan and fry then until brown.
- Keep them aside on a kitchen towel.
Method:
- Heat 1/4 cup oil in a deep bottom pan.
- Add onion slices and fry until soft.
- Add onion paste and all other ingredients except yogurt and coconut milk. Keep stirring on medium heat for 2-3 minutes.
- Then place fried kofta and mix gently with them.
- Whisk yogurt and coconut milk, pour into the pan. Stir it two or three times.
- Cover and cook on medium heat until thick.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle fried onion over it before serving.
- Serve with rice.
