Ingredients
- For chicken
- Chicken - 1 kg cut into small pieces
- Red Chili Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Garam masla powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Egg - 1 medium size
- Cornflour - 2 tablespoon
- All purpose flour - 1 tablespoon
- Tasting salt - as required
- For gravy
- Onion - 1 cup cube pieces
- Capsicum red & green - 2 cups cubed pieces
- 1 small onion and 1 tomato blended
- Ginger paste - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin paste - 1/2 teaspoon
- Red Chili Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Garam masla powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Milk - 1/2 cup
- Cornflour - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Chili sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Sugar - 1 teaspoon
- Lemon juice - 2 teaspoon
- Green Chili - 3-4
- Soybean oil - 1/2 cup
Instructions
Chicken Preparation:
- Wash and drain all water of chicken pieces.
- Mix all chicken ingredients with chicken pieces and marinate for 15 minutes.
- Deep fry the chicken pieces and keep on a kitchen tissue for absorbed excess water.
- Keep aside.
Method:
- Heat oil in a deep bottom pan and fry onion until soft.
- Add ginger paste and fry a little.
- Add garlic paste and cumin paste. Saute' for a moment.
- Now add blended tomato and onion.
- Mix chili powder, coriander powder and black pepper powder. Saute' for 1 minute.
- Add chicken pieces and mix with spices thoroughly but gently.
- Pour 1/2 cup of water.
- Then add soy sauce, sugar and garam masala powder.
- Add capsicum and green chili, cover and cook for 3-4 minutes.
- Mix cornflour with milk, then add into chicken.
- Keep stirring but gently. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Once the gravy thick then add lemon juice and remove from heat.
- Serve hot with rice.
