Ilish Macher Dim Dopeyazo is a semi dry curry, cook with onion, dry red chili, turmeric powder, mustard powder etc. It’s a spicy and delicious ilish dim curry.

Ingredients
- Ilish dim - 4 pieces
- Onion slices - 1 cup
- Onion paste - 1/4 cup
- Ground red chili - 1/2 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Mustard Powder - 1 teaspoon
- Dry Red Chili - 2-3 roasted
- Crispy Fried onion(Beresta) - 2 tablespoon for garnishing
- Salt to taste
- Oil - 1/4 cup
Instructions
Preparation:
- Sprinkle some salt and turmeric over ilish dim.
- Heat oil and fry for 3 minutes until brown. Keep aside.
Method:
- Heat remaining oil and fry onion until soft.
- Add all other ingredients except fried onion.
- Saute' for 2 minutes with a little water.
- Now place the fried egg and add some water.
- Adjust salt.
- Cook on low heat until water dries up.
- Remove from heat, sprinkle fried onion and garnish with roasted chili.
- Serve with rice or polau.
notes:
- in addition, you can also use green chili instead of dry red chili.
- you can skip mustard powder.
