Vanilla Sponge Cake For Icing
Ingredients
- maida/plain flour - 1/2 cup
- cornflour - 1 tbs
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- egg - 4
- sugar - 1/2 cup
- milk - 2 tbs
- oil - 1 tbs
Instructions
- in a bowl mix flour, baking powder and corn flour. keep aside.
- beat egg whites until foamy. add sugar a little by little and beat well.
- add egg yolks and beat slowly.
- mix vanilla essence and flour mixture.
- beat slowly.
- finally mix with spatula and transfer the batter into 8 inch or 9 inch baking pan.
- bake 170 degree C in a pre-heated oven for 30 minutes.
- remove from oven and let it to cool.
- slice and decorate with your favorite cream.
