Ingredients
- For chicken preparation:
- Boneless chicken - 500 gm breast and thing
- Egg - 1
- all purpose flour - 2 tablespoon
- Cornflour - 3 teaspoon
- Ginger paste - 1/2 teaspoon
- Garlic paste - 1/2 teaspoon
- Red chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Red food color - 2 drops
- For gravy:
- Oil - 4 tablespoon
- Onion - 1/2 cup chopped
- Ginger paste - 1/2 teaspoon
- Garlic paste - 1/2 teaspoon
- Cumin paste - 1/2 teaspoon
- Tomato - 2 blended
- Red chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper powder - 1/4 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder (optional) - a pinch
- Garam masla powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Tok doi(plain yogurt) - 3 tablespoon
- Tomato sauce - 2 tablespoon
- Cornflour - 2 teaspoon
- Sugar - 1 teaspoon
- Red food color - few drops
- Spring onion - 1/4 cup chopped
- Lemon juice - 2 teaspoon
Instructions
Preparation:
- Dry all water of chicken pieces with tissue.
- Mix all ingredients for chicken preparation in a bowl.
- Coat with chicken pieces well and keep aside for 30 minutes.
- Heat oil in a deep fry pan and fry chicken pieces.
- Keep it on kitchen tissue.
Method:
- Heat oil in a pan and fry chopped onion until soft.
- Add ginger , garlic and cumin paste. Fry a little.
- Pour blended tomato and mix well.
- Then mix red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, black pepper powder and salt.
- Simmer for 3-4 minutes or until oil is separated from gravy.
- Place the fried chicken pieces and coat with the spices.
- Add spring onion and cook for one minute.
- Mix yogurt, tomato sauce, sugar, cornflour and red food color in a small bowl, then pour into the chicken.
- Cook another 2-3 minutes on medium high flame.
- Once cooked then add lemon juice and remove from heat.
- Serve with rice or ruti or paratha.
