Ingredients
- Prawn/Chingri mach - 10-12 pieces medium big size
- Tok doi(plain yogurt) - 3 tablespoon
- Ground red chili - 1 teaspoon
- Ground turmeric - a pinch
- Mustard oil - 1/2 cup
- For grinding:
- Grated coconut - 1/4 cup
- Onion - 1/2 cup
- Mustard Seeds - 2 tablespoon black & brown
Instructions
Preparation:
- Grind or blend all ingredients for grinding.
- Wash and drain prawn pieces.
- Whisk yogurt with a pinch of flour.
- Now mix all ingredients with prawn except oil.
- Keep in your refrigerator for half an hour.
Cooking Method:
- Heat oil in a nonstick pan or wok.
- Place the marinated prawn carefully.
- Cover and cook on a very low heat.
- Dum for 20 minutes.
- Once cooked remove from heat and serve with khichuri or polau or rice.
