Ingredients
- Kachki fish - 1/2 kg
- Onion - 1/2 cup chopped
- Garlic - 2 tablespoon chopped
- Red Chili Powder - 1 teaspoon
- Tuemeric powder - 1 teaspoon
- Roasted cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
- Green chilies - 5-6
- Mustard oil - 1/2 cup
- Salt - to taste
- Banana leaf - as required
Instructions
Preparation:
- In a bowl mix all the ingredients with fish.
- Heat a tava on a high heat.
- Place the banana leaf on tava,and spread the kachki fish on the leaf.
- Cover the tava and cook the fish on a medium low heat.
- Once the water dries and a nice smell around you take the tawa off the heat.
- Serve the kola patay kachki with rice.
