Sobji Rezala/Vegetable Rezala
Ingredients
- Vegetable ingredients:
- Cauliflower - 2 cups cube
- Bean - 1 cup
- Carrot 1 - 1 cup
- Papaya 1 - 1 cup
- Potato 1 - 1 cup
- Green peas/motorshuti - 1/4 cup boiled
- Other ingredients:
- Oil - 1/4 cup
- Onion - 1/2 cup chopped
- Ginger paste - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic paste - 1/2 teaspoon
- Red Chili Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper powder - 1/4 teaspoon
- Coriander powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Tok doi(plain yogurt) - 4 tablespoon
- Tomato sauce - 2 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Green chilies - 2-3 pieces
- Lemon juice - 2 teaspoon
Instructions
Preparation:
- Wash and dry all the vegetables thoroughly.
- Boiled all the vegetable with some salt unti 50% done.
- Remove from heat and keep aside.
Method:
- Heat oil in a pan and fry onion until soft.
- Add ginger and garlic paste, fry a little.
- Then add all boiled vegetable and fry for 2-3 minutes.
- Sprinkle with chili powder, coriander powder, black pepper powder and cumin powder.
- Adjust salt.
- Break up the yogurt and tomato sauce with 1 tablespoon water, then pour into vegetable and mix well.
- Add 1/4 cup water, green chili and cook until soft and tender.
- Once the water dries up, add lemon juice.
- Remove from heat and serve.
