Spicy Okra/Bhendi Masala/Derosh Bhaji

Prep Time : 10 minutes. Cook Time : 15 minutes




  • Heat oil in a deep fry pan and deep fry okra until brown.
  • Keep aside on a kitchen napkin or tissue.

Cooking Method:

  • Heat 2 tablespoon oil and fry garlic until light brown.
  • Add blended tomato, onion, red chili, turmeric, cumin, coriander and salt.
  • Cook on medium heat until oil is separated from gravy.
  • Then add fried okra, green chilies and mix with spices.
  • Cook one minute and turn off heat.
  • Transfer to a serving dish and serve with rice.
